Rapid urbanization has led to the creation of high-density cities where natural landscapes become constructed environments to support large masses of people. At the same time, cities are associated with increased loneliness, social isolation, depression and anxiety. How can nature be brought back into urban interiors, creating opportunities for inhabitants to benefit from its restorative properties?
